Bond University for International Students: Fees, Entry and Scholarships

November 07, 2026

TL;DR: Bond University is a private university on the Gold Coast in Queensland, Australia, that teaches across three semesters a year, so a Bachelor of Business can take two years and an MBA one year and four months. Bond's 2027 International Guide lists the Bachelor of Business at AUD 150,240 in total and the MBA at AUD 81,430, with scholarships of 25% and 50% off tuition.

Bond is a small, high-contact university, and its accelerated calendar is the main reason students choose it: you finish sooner, start work sooner and spend fewer years paying living costs. This guide covers Bond University fees, entry requirements, English tests, 2027 semesters and scholarships. If you want a quick read on your options, Check your eligibility with Prosper.

Is Bond University good for international students?

Bond University had 6,188 enrolments in 2025, including 2,315 international students from more than 90 countries, and a student-to-teacher ratio of 11:1. It was ranked number 1 in Australia for learner engagement in the 2026 Good Universities Guide, and its business school holds AACSB and EQUIS accreditation.

The trade-off is cost per year. Because you study three semesters a year, each calendar year costs more than at a two-semester university, but the total course is shorter. Compare the whole-course fee, not the yearly figure.

Bond University fees for international students

Bond's 2027 International Guide lists total course fees in Australian dollars, based on an average calculation from 2026:

Programme Length Total course fee
Diploma of Business 2 semesters AUD 38,640
Bachelor of Business 6 semesters (2 years) AUD 150,240
Bachelor of Data Analytics Accelerated AUD 150,240
Bachelor of Laws 8 semesters AUD 200,320
Master of Data Analytics Accelerated AUD 79,900
MBA 4 semesters (1 year 4 months) AUD 81,430
Master of Business (Professional) 5 semesters (92 weeks) AUD 87,040

Bond charges fees each semester on a subject-by-subject basis, and the fees published when you start are the fees you are charged. The same guide puts living costs on the Gold Coast at AUD 29,710 a year. Our guide to Australia tuition fees for international students shows how Bond compares, and how much money you need to study in Australia explains the visa funds side.

Bond University entry requirements and English tests

Bond's general undergraduate standard is a result equivalent to an ATAR of 65.00, an OP of 15 or an IB score of 24. Postgraduate programmes ask for a recognised bachelor's degree or equivalent qualification.

Test Most bachelor's and master's Higher level, including law
IELTS Academic 6.5, no band below 6.0 7.0, no band below 6.5
PTE Academic 58, no skill below 50 65 for law

Our guide to Australia student visa English requirements covers the visa rules.

Bond University intakes for 2027

Bond runs three semesters a year. Its 2027 academic calendar, which it notes is subject to review, lists classes starting on:

  • January semester: 18 January 2027
  • May semester: 17 May 2027
  • September semester: 13 September 2027

Bond accepts applications until the semester starts, but a student visa takes time, so a May or September 2027 start is the realistic target if you are applying now. The how to apply to university in Australia guide explains each step from offer to CoE.

Bond University scholarships

  • International Undergraduate Excellence Scholarship: 50% off tuition for results equivalent to an ATAR of 95.00 or an IB Diploma score of 38 or higher.
  • International Stand Out Scholarship: 25% off tuition for undergraduate or postgraduate study. Undergraduates need the equivalent of ATAR 90 or IB 32, and eligible applicants are considered automatically.
  • Bond Business School Postgraduate Bursaries: a cash payment of AUD 5,000, with applications closing before the start of each semester.

Your offer letter sets out the deposit, and Bond issues your Confirmation of Enrolment (CoE) once you accept and pay.

Applying from Sri Lanka

Sri Lanka is listed as an eligible country for the International Stand Out Scholarship and the Bond Business School Postgraduate Bursaries. For the Foundation Program, Bond accepts four Sri Lanka GCE O Levels with a minimum grade of S. Bond does not publish a Sri Lankan A/L grade table, so your A/L results are assessed against its general ATAR 65 standard for your programme.

Australian student visa applicants from Sri Lanka should prepare for the Genuine Student requirement and a full document set. Our guides to the Genuine Student requirement and the Australia student visa document checklist show how.
