Middlesex University scholarships

Middlesex offers regional awards of around £2,000 off first-year fees for academic excellence. For 2027/28, Arts and Creative Industries MA courses also carry an introductory scholarship of 20% off the £21,200 fee, applied automatically. You can receive only one Middlesex scholarship.

Postgraduate students can also look at government scholarships such as Chevening, which Middlesex lists on its scholarships page. Our scholarships guide compares the main options.

Applying from Sri Lanka

Middlesex has a Sri Lanka page with its own entry rules:

  • Undergraduate: at least three C grades at A level.
  • Year three entry: considered for a Merit in the Edexcel HND in Computing.
  • Postgraduate: a good degree from a recognised university with at least 55%.

The same page says Middlesex is currently not accepting applicants from Sri Lanka for its Pre-Sessional English and International Foundation courses until further notice. That means you should apply with an English score that already meets your course requirement. It also reminds applicants who have lived in Sri Lanka in the past six months that a TB test is needed for a stay of six months or more; our IOM Colombo TB test guide explains the booking. The full visa process is in how to apply for a UK student visa.
